Front Porch

 

The front porch as never been more beautiful.   There are a few little changes I would make, for next year.

On Porch

Large pots:  Sun patience, grass.  I think I will get a bigger purple grass for next year

Calalily:  White in large pot, Gold Fever in medium pot, Millennial Queen small pot

Steps:

Side:  Pink Caladium  

Next year I have a tall thin pot and three different caladiums.   The pinks will go in the pots next to the bench.

Sugar Moon Rose

Care:  Bayer once a month, fertilize two weeks later.  Prune to canes in winter and cover with burlap.  Mulch heavy.  Water well during summer.

Spray weekly with copper spray when leaves are out.  When in bud spray with soap spray for thrips.  Dead head as needed.

Bought this several years ago at plymouth nusery.  I don't like these as well as the other two facing south.  It does have a lot more foilage thought on the side, but it doesn't have the flowers.
