Fun Garden Rocks

We found the shoe when we were collecting rocks for our water fall. It sits on the side of the water fall  We also must have picked up the face, too, but didn't realize it was a face until it got turned over then watered.   There it was.  We moved it under the crab apple tree to keep the geese out of the yard.

Bridal Spirea In Bloom

Since that terrible awful no good winter we had that didn't get above zero for a whole month these shrubs have been fabulous and performed wonderfully well.   This year they are the best yet and we expect them to get better every year.   We had to trim out a little dead wood, but they have grown well.

Tulip Tree In Bloom

The Tulip Tree doesn't bloom every year, but this year it seems to be doing really well.  Blooms started on the south side and are working around the tree.  It's a lovely addition to the blooms in the front yard.

Ajuga Flowers

The ajuga took a hard hit over the winter so a lot was gone, but what did survive flowered.  Who knew that the flowers were so beautiful.

A New Friend

We were not going to add any more criters to our collection, but we ran across this really, really cute chameleon.   And it works great hanging off the water fall top.

Spring in the Garden

The bleeding heart and candy tuft and better than we have every seen them--cool temps and lots of rain.

My lily of the valley is the prettiest it has ever been.
