This particular plant was one purchase many years ago when our daughter was a teenager. She chose it as her special plant. When we moved we took it to our son's house and he nurtured it. Then when we were ready in our new house we took a piece. It grows and blooms and thrives. We have also sent a piece to our daughter in Wichita. Hopefully it will bloom there as well.

And some day, in many years, a piece of it will also live at the former teenage daughter's future house....
Just so you know, it bloomed beautifully. And the peonies are alive, as is the candy tuft... the lavender isn't happy where I put it, I think. So, I'm going to try and move it. Oh, and the roses you sent are alive, too! Maybe I'm okay at this gardening thing. (Though the hibiscus that we planted isn't looking too happy... you win some, you lose some, right?)
